Let me just say this...

I am who I am.

I'm fifteen, love adoption, and I write a blog.  And no, it's not your typical 15-year-old blog.  I wear red jeans, I own a pink blazer, and sometimes I only wear earrings on one side.  Not because I lost the other ones, but because sometimes I like the idea of only one.  If you came to my house unexpectedly on a random week day, I'd be in Nike shorts and a v-neck t-shirt that I don't care about.  I do school at home.  Yes, you read that right.  I do my school at home.  I go to high school at home.  I think adoption is the best thing ever. I'd rather be in Africa than the US on some days.  I love orphans.  I wear red tights and hightops.  I hate mornings but going to bed past 1:30am gives me insomnia.  I'm obsessed with cop shows and I think laughing is one of the happiest things ever.  I'm quite crazy.  No really, if I'm not crazy around you, then you don't know me well enough.  I have a dumb phone named Geoff and I never take it anywhere.  As in...  other teenagers couldn't live a moment without theirs, mine is never on me unless I need it.  I like to say I'm an introverted extrovert.  I love Arizona but I think the weather kind of sucks and it makes me want to get out of here, and fast.  I worry too much and I stay up until midnight with my brothers and sing the Biebs or watch the news.  I literally have an obsession with shoes and I can't stop.  Check my closet when I die.  I love making a stand and speaking up (I've called Girl Scouts telling them I'm not buying their cookies because Planned Parenthood supports them (or maybe it's vice versa), and also Susan G. Komen telling them I'm not supporting them either because they support Planned Parenthood.  Yes, I will gladly call someone for you if you'd like me to let them know how you feel).  You can find me out in public with my camera in my hand... if I don't, it's rare.  I believe no one is "normal" (define normal anyways).  I think babies are some of the best things God can give people.  I also think a babies laugh gives me more joy than anything else.  I spend most of my time on Skype talking to my friends.  I never get sunburned (I blame it on the Arizona sun I've lived in my whole life).  And most importantly, I love Jesus.

I am who I am.

And to be honest... I really don't care if you don't like me.  I really don't care if you think I'm a freak.  Because I am.  And because this is who I am.  I'm not going to change to please others.  I'm not going to change my personality to please the rest of the world.  Because I am who I am.  And this is how God made me.  And I'm not changing for the world.
