Eli.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ONE OF THE BESTEST BROTHAH'S EVAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's 6!!!!!!!!!  It's so crazy!!!!!!!

He's totally adorable, hilariously funny, quiet, fun, and TOTALLY amazing!!!!  One of my favorite things is when we're at home by ourselves without the boys or anyone, and he has to tell me every little thing that he is going to do.  It's the cutest thing.

A hilariously hilarious quote from him:
"Approximately, it isn't healthy to go on the computer.  According to my calculations, it is."

All good things must come to an end.

Spring break is over (sniff sniff) and we are back to real life.  Yes, real life.  Life that is full of waking up early, cleaning your bedroom, running off to classes and writing papers.  Amid all the real life stress, countdowns have begun and there is three weeks until finals and then Summer break.  Yes.
Our Easter was fantabulously amazing and relaxing.

It started out with church, and then we were off to a lovely time with friends and having a great time.

We came home, watched the boys play baseball, and I studied.

It was a great Easter.  But now real life calls.

Four weeks.  Four weeks.
 Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
Four weeks.  Four weeks.
I can do that.

people.

Have you noticed that each and every person is so completely and perfectly made differently?  It's something that I've been really getting deeper into, through my photography.

I absolutely love people.  They just make me happy.  And I love capturing people's personalities through photography.

So many people are so into the material things - to make them even more beautiful, the natural beauty that God gave them, but they don't realize that they're totally beautiful just the way they are.  (And no, this was not taken from Bruno Mars' song.  Hah.)

I am truly blessed to have friends that are totally amazing and b e a u t i f u l.

Embrace your beauty, people.  The Lord gave it to you.

spring break.

Spring break is here.  I am so happy.  It's what I've needed for a long time.
So here it is.  It's the first day of break, and I'm already super excited for the next six days.

I'm not going to be like every other blogger in American (or the entire world) and talk about the weather, although it is getting warm.

So warm, in fact, that I've gone swimming for the past three days.  It's been a blast.  And, remember this post?  Well, the painting has begun, and is almost finished:

(terrible photo.  taken with my iPod)

I LOVE the color!!!!  It's absolutely gorgeous ;)  And I can't wait to clean up and get my bed made with my BRAND SPANKIN' NEW BEDDING!!!!!

YAY!!!  It's here, and I'm so ready to put it all together.  So, stay tuned for the finished bedroom photo!!

This is going to be a very good spring break.

miscellaneous chatter

Hello!

Have I ever mentioned to you how my brother hates when I take his picture?  He was yelling Stop here.

See?  Ugh.

I went swimming today.  It was fantabulously amazing.

Spring Break is officially here.  I am so so so SO excited!!  One whole week of sleeping late and painting my room?  Yes, please!

Have you ever had Cake Pops?  They're yummy.

Robin Eggs are also a huge part of what I'm looking forward to next week.  Oh my.

outfits and greetings.

I have especially loved putting together outfits lately.

Casual.  I really love this first outfit.  I usually wear the dress with leggings because it shrunk in the dryer, but it was exceptionally warm so I wore it with shorts.  I usually pay little attention to proportions, but I still think this works :)

First outfit:
Top: H&M
shorts: Goodwill (therefore, I have no idea what the brand name is!).
Necklace: H&M

Second Outfit:
Black tee: Gap
Jeans: Levi's
Jacket: from a friend.
shoes: TOMS

And a little more dressy.  I love belting dresses and high-waisted skirts.

First outfit:
Dress: H&M
Cardigan: H&M
Belt: Target
Shoes: H&M

(You've probably figured out by now that I love H&M :))

Second outfit:
Top: I don't know.
Skirt: Anthropology.
Shoes: I really don't recall what I wore.

So there's my first outfit post :)

And, my wonderful, lovely, smart, and super fun friend, Taylor (whom I am skyping at this very moment) wanted to be on my post.  So, here you are, Taylor:

We're just kinda crazy.  We decided to lisp for a while.  And we've already decided that when we fly together to our online school's end of the year gathering, we will do some crazy things.  Maybe you will hear more about this later.

Goodbye, my loves.

brothers.

brothers.  they're fun.  let me just tell ya.
Even when one of them is not the most photogenic (or photo-loving, in that case) brother.

The funny thing is, I asked if they'd get together so I could snap a few shots.  Liam happily accepted.  And Eli?  I think his response was something close to, "Eh.".  But thankfully Liam was there to say, "Yeah, Eli!  Let's!"

I love having brothers.  They're just so much fun.

From the outside I think people think that brothers are evil and punch you (we have our days), but really, they're awesome.

I've thought about what it would be like to have a sister, but I don't think I'd like it.  For a while, it was because I liked the idea of being the "only girl" of the family.  But honestly, I'll take brothers any day.  All that fighting stuff with a sister?  No thank you.  Although it does sound pretty fun :)

I can't imagine life without them.

ramblings.

I really am loving this image.

We got our last little cold spell on Saturday.  It was rainy and cold, and now, it will slowly make it's way up to the torturous temperatures of at least 100 degrees.

Not ready.  Not ready at all.

Remember Hal????  I love this photo of her.

The sun was shining really beautifully yesterday evening and I decided to lay down on the grass and take a picture.  I love it.

I did a little re-make of my old glasses case.

 before.

after.

All I did was put hot glue on it, wrapped it with fabric, and VWA-LA!!!  You're done!  Really cute and SUPER simple!!

I was going for something like this:
Although mine will never look like that!!!!!

enjoy your tuesday, and remember, tomorrow is the last day to enter my giveaway!!

Just One?

So, when I logged into blogger a few minutes ago, I realized that today I had to choose one, just one, funny picture for this challenge.  And um, HELLO!??!?!  if you know anything about me, you know I can't just choose one.  Okay, I can.  But not when it comes to photographs or desserts, and so on and so forth.

So let us begin.  Or, in my brothers' words, Ready, begin.

I have decided that I cannot just choose one.  So here are my many photographs that I find hilarious in their own unique ways.  And this is just 2011.

Number one.  My wonderful bird dog of a dog.  He's crazy.  He was pointing while standing with his legs apart.  Hah.

No words.  At all. Ahem.

This is soooooooooo my father.

Sisterly love, people, sisterly love.  (And don't worry, this was planned, and she did not hit her sister with that rock, or whatever it is.)

I love love love love LOOOOOVE this.

And this?  Logan was freaking out because of the loss of all his hair.  Haha.

And my last, most recent photograph that makes me laugh.
