30 days of gratitude // six

Today...

I am thankful for adoption.  I am thankful for the good and the bad parts of it.  I am thankful for birthmothers and their selfless choice to choose and protect life.  I am thankful that each and every one of them choose the hard way over the easy way out.  I am thankful for the unique and beautiful way it creates families and gives orphaned babies hope. But most of all, I am thankful that I was adopted by Jesus and for the heart for adoption God chose specifically for me.  It's such a humbling experience.
