It's a scary, scary thing, friends. More of us need to realize our calling.
this makes me sad. and after reading James 1:27 I just want to shout: this is real. this needs to be obeyed. this isn't just words in a chapter that mean nothing. this is a calling that needs to be - must be - realized by many more people.
This breaks my heart into a millions of pieces...one break for every orphaned child. I read in the book "Kisses from Kate" (SO GOOD I can't recommend it enough!) that there are 2 billion Christians in the world, and if 8% of them adopted 1 child, there would be no orphaned children left. (This was when the number was 146 million I think...) But a change needs to be made.
