Hiya! {A blog post by Otis-the-dog}

Hiya! I'm Otis, and I love my family.  I like to eat bones, chase birds, play with Baron (and of course other dogs), get my parents to throw the ball for me, go on walks, swim, and eat treats.  Yumm... treats!  Treats are amazing!  I love them.  And! The best part is, the only thing they make me do is sit and then i get my treat.  Yummmmmmm... my life is the best life.  here's why:

I get up right behind Eli.

I go wake up my Dad.

I go outside and chase some birds.  I want to make sure the area is secure for the day.

I watch as my Mom tries to teach the kids how to add 1+1.  I already know that one.  It's easy.  *think*  Umm... Oh wait!  MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!  oh nevermind.  It's 2.  See? I'm just as smart as those real kids.

Then I sleep.  I try to dream of things like playing with Baron.  Sometimes, the dream comes true and he really comes!  It's really amazing.

Then, by the time it's really dark outside, there are no birds to chase, so I sleep.  I eventually go to my real bed with Eli.  Then I repeat this all over again.

I really do have an amazing life.

 I also love the cat.

Here's my BFF, Baron!

Rebelution Conference

**** UDATE ON THIS POST!!!  it did not post the whole post so im really sorry :P getting it back up soon!****

A friend of mine asked me to volunteer at the Rebelution Conference.  I was attending, but I didn't really think of volunteering.  I of course said yes... I worked at the book table.  Yes.  That was me.  Yes, I was the one that you would ask, "Where do you pay?" or "How much does this book cost?".  I also got some questions like "Are there any books here for $5?".  It was a fantastic experience and it was great!  But I have a highlight:

I met Alex and Brett Harris.

Meet them.

And... as a matter of fact... I actually sat next to ALEX!! Yes... I sat next to him.  Like actually sat.

Early Mornings, Schoolwork, and Isaiah

So, I woke up super early this morning for my Orientations this morning.  Orientations include waking up at 6:00, rinsing your face a lot to get your eyes OPEN WIDE, get dressed, make my bed, etc etc, and then you meet your teachers for the first time ever.  Another thing you do: you read everyone's profile (well... this part is optional but I do it).  So I read them.  If we're talking about Biology, then I know like 70% of the class just from knowing 2 people from last year who knew them annndd... yes.  It's a very long story.  And the Veritas thing is just too hard to understand for people that don't go to Veritas Press.  So, join the club, or forever be confused.  Or don't.  You will save yourself some sleep.

ANYWAY!!! back to the part about reading profiles: So yes!! I read all of my classmates profiles and all of those 70% of the class kids I was talking about?  Ya, they all wrote like HUGE LONG, LONG, LONG looooooooooooooooooong profiles.  It's crazyyyyyyyyyy.  And I mentioned this to them and they thought I was crazy.  Crazy.  Insane.  Bananas.  Out-of-your-mind.  Wacko.  Wild.  Crazy.  So anywhoooooo...

A few pictures:

Isaiah spent the night!  He kept looking at me saying "You make cookies.  Cookies!!" SO, I made him some.  In my mom's words:  "Isaiah wants some cookies... Make him some for a celebration." (i did not make them b/c of this request.)

Enjoy your weekend!!
